National Playground Contractors Association: This group supports all playground safety programs, guidelines and standards that promote public playground safety by assisting the public in identifying the need for a professional playground installation.

Associated Builders Contractors: ABC is a national association representing 23,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms in 80 chapters across the United States. ABC's membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry.

National Recreation and Park Association: NRPA and its National Playground Safety Institute (NPSI)'s mission is "To advance parks, recreation and environmental conservation efforts that enhance the quality of life for all people."

National Program for Playground Safety: Since its beginning in October 1995, NPPS has taken an active part in injury prevention. It's web site provides a wealth of information regarding playground safety tips and FAQ's as well as playground report cards on playgrounds in your area.

American Society for Testing and Materials: A scientific and technical organization that establishes standards for testing different types of materials, including playground equipment. Unless otherwise noted, all LSI playground equipment meets the ASTM F-1487 Standard of safety and accessibility requirements.

International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association: In the interest of public safety, IPEMA provides third-party Product Certification services for U.S. and Canadian public play equipment and U.S. public play surfacing materials.

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission: CPSC is an independent federal regulatory agency. CPSC works to save lives and keep families safe by reducing the risk of injuries and deaths associated with consumer products.

Americans with Disabilities Act: ADA provides for "equal access" features in publicly-used facilities, including playgrounds. Recently the ADA revised its guidelines for accessible play areas, adopting new minimum requirements for elevated and ground-level play activities, as well as surfacing.
